Sorry to hear about your disability but great to hear that it doesn't seem to be holding you back, you still want to travel and that is excellent.
The Costa Del Sol is very much geared up to disabled people and has several hire centres in every town. These can be organised via your travel agent but would prob work out much cheaper if you waited till you got here. Fuengirola is a good holiday town as is Torremolinos, although it is certainly more hilly. I would avoid Benalmadena since it is built on a hill. Further down the coast there is La Cala which is becoming more popular, Marbella (although that can be pricey) and Estepona which is an up and coming resort. All can certainly cope with disabled holiday-makers and you will find that a lot of the hire-shops are English owned so communication is no problem at all.

Hope you have a great time

the best place for disable scooter hire is Benidorm when you get to your hotel or apartment you ring amigos, well advertised, last month it was 72euros a week. they deliver and collect free of charge, The Levante area is the flat part .Good Luck
