costa del sol .torremolinos,benalmadena that sort of area.its only 10/15 mins in a cab from the airport which is about 24 euros.its has dolphin parks ,croc parks ,theme park,public parks,boats along the coast for a small fee,plenty of places to eat and drink.water parks there is a zoo within easy reach on local bus the beaches are beautiful and your kids will love it .the prices are average for spain.prices are about 1500 for bad and breakfast

I agree with BRAINS. Anywhere near Salou is ideal for families. Cambrills, Salou, Cap Salou, La Pineda. Weather is nice, not too expensive, nice area, fantastic public transportation, not too far from airport, short flight, fantastic theme park.
I have been 3 times with my kids, booked for next summer and have taken a school trip there.
Go to www.goingplaces.co.uk. Search for Costa Dorada (Reus), from East Midlands, 14 July, 2 adults, 3 kids, you will get an excellent deal half board £1350 4star hotel - H10 Mediterranian Village.
I would strongly recommend the Half Board H10 Med Village - superb quality, perfect entertainment for families. The hotel is in Cap Salou much quieter than Salou. There is a bus stop right outside that takes you into Salou, to the parks and even to Barcelona!

Suggestion for a resort:-
La Pineda, Costa Dorada, Spain about 10 mins away from Salou (Main resort in the area)
Water Park situated in the resort.
Porta Ventura (Alton Towers type theme park) 15 mins on the bus. If you go, make sure you stay for the midnight water based show, fire works the lot, absolutely fantastic.
La Pineda unlike Salou is more family friendly, all the noisy crew are based in Salou.
Reus airport is only about 15-20 mins from the resort.
We are heading back this year as we enjotyed it so much last year. For your type of family I would highly recommend this resort.
Oh and the beach is fantastic and fully equiped with both ambulance crews and life guards.
I could go on, I hope you get the picture.

Salou is nice Iv been a few times and my daughter is going in august with a 10 year old and a 2 year old. Santa Ponsa or Alcudia is my favourites, you will be lucky to get anywhere in July, from Glasgow all they have is Ibiza for July. |

Alicante or Torrevieja are nice,and Mojacar,cheap too,just go on line and have a look and see what's available that you fancy.I'd avoid Benidorm though-not a nice place! |
