Holiday to spain....?

I'm from the UK and want to go on holiday with two of my friends to Spain, especially Barcelona. Was thinking of doing Barcelona then Valencia then Madrid, for approx 2 weeks? Does anyone have any advice? Like should we just go to Barcelona for the 2 weeks or are there other options? We want it to be relatively cheap, thinking of putting aside at most £700 for flights, accommodation, food and going out which is a must!
Any help would be amazing!!!!!
Cheers
xxxx

Definetely Barcelona is the best. 2 weeks only in Barcelona would be too much but you can spend some days somewhere along the coast between Barcelona and Girona like Lloret, Calella, etc, where all young pple from UK and Germany go to get drunk and go out. In Barcelona itself 4-5 days is enough. You can go to Sitges to spend one day in the beach and go out. It's like 40 minutes by train from barcelona. If you want to go to Madrid you can check cheap companies like clickair or vueling. You can also try high speed train at www.renfe.es or going by bus which will be the cheapest option. for sure. In Madrid there is not as many interesting things to do compared to Barcelona but nightlife is also interesting. About Valencia, I don't know much. Of course it's not a very big city, so with 2-3 days would be enough. If you wanna go there from Barcelona, you can check train schedules and prices at www.renfe.es or going by bus.

Check out the travelodge website they have hotels in barcelona and madrid and are very cheap.

This really depends on when you want to come to Spain. August for example is a definate no no. Hugely expensive and in Madrid you would fry as there is no beach etc to cool off from, so sight seeing in the day would be suicide as temps are around 40. Most all Madrileños leave Madrid and head for our coastline of Benidorm, Calpe etc to get away from the city.
Barcelona will also be very expensive but at least it has sightseeing and beach, so that's a plus.
Valencia, well I wouldn't rush to go there, except to visit the huge aquarium (Oceanografic Valencia)
700 quid between you or each???

Fly to Barcelona stay there for a week, then check out a town to the north called Figueres,( brilliant museum of Dali ),then on to the coast only an hour or so to the east. Don't try doin Barcelona and Madrid and Valencia as they are all places you need to spend time in. Stick to 2 at most.Check out cheap airlines Easyjet, ryannair, flybe etc all go to Barca. Also see www.reaj.com website for youth hostels in spain. Have fun and send me a postcard :) Ps Forgot to say be careful in Barca, Las Ramblas is pickpocket heaven. Have fun and send me a postcard :)

The budget £700 seems too small, even if you are sleeping 4 to a room. Standard tourist class train fare from Madrid to Barcelona is 124.30 € round trip. I doubt that the £700 would cover flights accomodations and transportation, before you even get to food, alcohol, and incidentals.

Brits seem to be coming to Mexico in record numbers to take advantage of the exchange rate.

This time of the year is expensive, it will cost you most of that for flights. Normally when I go a package holiday I take more than that for spending money.

is that 700 pound just for the flight or the holiday if its for the holiday dream on check the price of the flights a return ticket will cost most of that at the moment they seem cheap when you see them advertised but when you add on all the surcharges there not
