Holidaying in Marbella, Spain.?
Thinking of going to Marbella with my girlfriend over the summer. Anybody been here? Nice place? Nightlife good for 23/25 year olds!? Expensive?
Yes, I have relatives there and live an hour away. I love Marbella and Puerto Banus. I can remember when Puerto Banus was just a few buildings and a marina. Marbella and more especially Puerto Banus is quite expensive to the other resorts, but compared to living in the UK it is relatively less expensive. There are some great nightspots about. However, do yourselves a favour and go inland and see the real Spain. Places that are well worth visiting are Ronda, Antequera, The El Chorro Gorge just north of Malaga. Go and see the Andalucian School of Equestrian Art in Jerez de la Frontera. Also visit a sherry bodega. A little further afield but easily done in a day is Granada. Visit the Alhambra Palace & Generalife. There is so much to see in that area of Andalucia. It's just a fantastic place

very good place. Plenty of night life.. same prices as in the UK due to the pound being pretty crap right now.
You'll have a fantastic time.

Very nice - good shopping too. Go see Puerto Banus (but don't plan on eating or drinking there! horribly pricey) but worth it to see the cars, boats and how the other half live! Have fun.
