Well, actually here in Spain there're a lot of prejudices about other races, I'm Spanish, living in Spain and a friend of mine who started a relationship with a black man had a lot of problems with her family and some friends, now she's with a Romanian man and those problems and prejudices have disappeared so it makes me think that it was only of skin color problem. It's sad, but most people is racist.

Anyway there're also a lot of people that are more open-minded, but in Andalusia, maybe they're more traditional.

Hispanic men generally like to date women who are a LOT younger than them - that's probably why the old guys are hitting on you! But be forewarned, in Spain,it's considered OK for a married guy to have a mistress - probably most of those old guys have wives at home and they want you for the other woman!

I'm not sure why guys your age don't try and talk to you.

Maybe you should go to Madrid - there are a lot of Moroccans, Africans and Dominicans there, so you would find more guys who are attracted to Black women. You should also try Cadiz, there is a large US Navy base there, so there are lots of American men who would be more than happy to date a Black woman (and the'd be glad to meet a fellow American too!)

While I was in Spain, I noticed that practically every local there was in a relationship. Out of all the places I have gone on a trip to, I have never seen so many visible younger couples. This could be your problem.

Until the older generation of Spanish people die out, there will likely be some sort of taboo that will always linger for a bit when in comes to interracial dating.

In spain they are a lot more used to going out with their own girls,its the same in many parts of europe that's just the way their mentality is,moreover if they were to go out with someone from another race a lot of their girls would stop talking to me, i know it sounds excessive but its like that inmany places in europe.

in the south of Spain people are very traditional, go to Barcelona or Madrid...

i have not only lived there for 4 years but i go to college there (gaduating this semster..YAY!) so you know i have datedquite a bit....

spain is prod. white spaniard (sounds logical right?) and alot/most of the men i have known are not realy fond of black women. i wondered why because i had allways been okay with racial differences. they all told me the same thing "we grew up with our type women, to change is just something i can live w/o"

try to find a man who is not like the men i have been with.

ItÂ´s true Spaniards are racists!!! young and old !!! I live in Barcelona and we have a mix of other ethnic backrounds...If I were you , i would try going to latin bars/clubs youÂ´ll find lots of handsome latin men..good luck
