Nowadays every home in Spain has at least one toilet, the most usual in a 3 bedrooms apartment is to have 1 or 2 toilets/bathroom.

Quite simply, this is NOT true.
Our house has 3 toilets for 4 bedrooms and this is not seen as unusual by the locals.
