How can I find my Mother, who lives in Madrid Spain?

I presume you know her name, so maybe you could try the Spanish 'white pages' telephone directory.

I've just seen your additional info. Maybe you could contact the adoption agency to see if you can either find out your mother's contact details (which is unlikely - I would imagine that there are confidentiality rules concerning information like that), or ask them to pass on a letter or something to let her know you want to get in touch.

Failing that, if you're sure she's living in Madrid, you could try to write to the local newspaper in that area to see if they could print something for you to let your mother know you'd like to contact her. It's worth a try.

Try the telephone book on 'www. paginasblancas.es'

Remember that in Spain, names are in the order Christian name; Father's surname, Mother's surname, so check under both surnames.

Also remember that women do not change their surname on marriage in Spain, so check under maiden name as well.

She may have registered with the embassy. you could ask them to contact her or forward a letter.

There is alsways the ayuntamiento or police. But you must have a good reason.

I don't know why you are getting sarcastic answers for this. Perhaps you are trying to reunite after years apart or something.
Anyway the telephone directory is a good idea or there must be some census, so perhaps they have the equivalent of an electoral roll, but Madrid being so big, I would presume there are different regions. Good luck.
