I would try walking into a Phone House store. They can easily recharge prepaid phones from Orange (used to be Amena), Movistar and Vodafone. Here's their website so you can find a location near you http://www.phonehouse.es/

Why not just phone the top up line and use a debit/credit card or log onto the O2 site while in Spain and top up that way. I think you may struggle to find alternative means of topping up credit there.

Adding credit to a mobile can only be done at country of origin or via internet or telephone. But you will need a debit/credit card in order to be able to top up via internet or phone.

Best idea is to leave it at home. There are plenty of phones about if you need to phone home. Going on holiday is about forgetting life at home and enjoying yourself. Less phoning will mean more money to enjoy your holiday.
If you still intend on bringing a phone out here then arrange with your phone supplier to have a credit card facility.
It´s warm and sunny today in Malaga.
