How do I get from Costa Brava to Barcelona? |
I'm going to Costa Brava for a week in May and my geography is awful. I've always wanted to go to Barcelona to see the sites etc. Are they Barcelona and Costa Brave near to each other? If yes, how would I get there by train and how much would that be? |

I´m from a town near Barcelona,Jetsette has told you all you need to know! It is very easy,it would only take you a bit over an hour on the train from costa Brava to Barcelona, very easy to go there.Ticket to Sants or Plaça Catalunya (where the Ramblas are).Don´t know the exact price,approximately 5Euros I think,one way ticket.Enjoy yourself! |

The Costa Brava is located north Barcelona. You have access to many Costa Brava's beaches from Barcelona Sants train station (www.renfe.es , Spanish Railways).
You can reach many beaches within 1hour from Barcelona. |

we stayed at pineda de mar the train also stops at lloret de mar la pineda and other places
it is only a few euros and runs very regular
barcelona is beautiful
please dont book a rep trip as they are a rip off
get the train to barcelona then go to the place underground in the central square wher you can get the tickets for buses much cheaper you can get a ticket for the day or 3 days and get on and off the bus as often as you like.
just beware there are many pickpockets in barcelona
loads of mc donalds lol
lots of shops bring a jacket just in case as it does rain occasionally at that time of year
have a fantastic time
it takes less between half an hour to an hour on the train. |
