You want to be unreadable for a job????

Try searching "Work in Spain" Seriously. I did it once,, just for fun. There are tons of websites that advertise that they can get you a job...without the need for a work visa, they can do more for you! Work visas are hard to come by; harder these days than, say, two years ago. EVERYTHING is down all around the world, so expect it to be difficult, but at least one of those placement agencies can help get you a start.

Now, one thing...there are tons of scammers on the web, too, so check out anyone who says they CAN and HAVE gotten you something...make SURE they are trustworthy, but that's a place to start!

¡Buena suerte!

Unemployment in Spain is very high at the moment, you will need a lot of luck. Speaking fluent Spanish would be a massive help as would arriving during the Summer tourist season, that way your prospect will be better.

You may find it hard to get a job in Spain at the present time, Spain has very high unemployment at the moment.
I live in a coastal region and it is dead no tourists.

3 million people to be exact... I think it is about %11 of the population the Highest inside the E.U and Europe also I think...
You'll need to speak Spanish very well... be prepared to take a ´job-down´ from the job you have now... in the Summer, if the economy of England, Netherlands and German are strong then many bars will re-open. but until then many will not. that is where you will find work, in the South with the tourists

As many other people say, the unemplyment rate is high indeed.
You will find especially painful jobs that pay very little, such as...
...publicity distributor.
...courier.
...babysitting.
...waiter (this could pay better).
...(ahem) prostitution (sad but true).

This is Spain for you, considering your level of Spanish s basic.
