School kids dress very casually in generally - too much so in my opinion. Lots of boys now wear the baggy jeans and loose shirts with tennis shoes.
Girls will wear tight jeans and a tight stretchy shirt with flats (shoes).
Generally speaking, adults will dress much more nicely with nice jeans or pants, tight jeans or pants for women, dress shirts with buttons or polos for guys and, well, women wear just about every variety of clothes. Leather shoes are worn by just about everyone.

Wear a dress or a skirt. Something not too skimpy. They go a bit more conservative than most Americans...in Sevilla, they are very formal, and take great care in their dress. Madrid as well. Barcelona is more Casual. (How DO you spell cazh?)

Women here in Madrid wear dresses or nice jeans .
but they never...never wear gym shoes with them .
they wear some kind of sandal,flat,or anything else...just not tennis shoes,gym shoes or whatever you call them
You never see women wear sweats in public either. |
