How do you say "bikini wax" in Spanish? |
I'm living in Sevilla and with this beautiful weather, I'm heading to the beach next week. My problem is that I have no idea how to ask for a bikini wax. Not a brazilian, just the area around the bathingsuit. I'm sure I could explain it well enough, but I want to know if there's a phrase or a word so I can look for prices. Any help would be great, thanks! If you happen to know a good, safe, clean place in Sevilla, that would be doubly helpful and you'll definitely get picked for best answer! Thank you! |

You say "depilacion de ingles" (the accent goes on the i)... At the place i go to, brazilian is a narrow bikini, and if you want the top lowered a bit, you say pubis. At this place, a full wax is called depilacion Ãntima.
The place I go to is called DepilEstil, but I think they're only in Barcelona. My roomate goes to one called DepilGroup, and she says it's a nice place, looks clean and professional and you don't need to make an appointment. They have a place in Sevilla. Don't ask me how I know this -- it is amazing what things stick in the old language bank...
Depilación is the word you are looking for. A quick search turned up http://www.dormirenbalnearios.com/balnearios/alojamientos/boticaria/index.asp but i'm sure there is much more. Sorry I can't recommend anyone personally. :) Good luck. |
