Montserrat is 50 kilometres inland from Barcelona, close to the town of Manresa. I was there two years ago. It is an awesome place to visit.

I don't know how far Montserrat is from Barça... but they are around 650km away from each other... it would take over 7 hours of driving or 4 hours on a train
go to google earth and put in the town which Montserrat is near and then Madrid... and it will tell you
