About an hour by bus ... if you fly into the Reus Airport (i.e. with Ryanair), there are buses that will take you from the Reus Airport right to Sants Central Station in Barcelona. From there, I believe Las Ramblas is about a 10 minute walk.

Reus is about 115 Km from BCN; Girona is about100 km.

100 km is 60 miles.

The problem is not the distance, it's the traffic.

At peak hours forget doing the journey in one hour and budget two hours. The bus (autocar) is quick and comfortable. Book if you can.

Girona airport is situated just inland from the sunny Spanish Costa Brava, Girona Airport lies halfway between Barcelona and Perpignan (France). see http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/airports.htm Reus airport is located 4km from Reus, 13km from Tarragona and approximately 110 km from Barcelona. see http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/reus_airport.htm

Girona is other city, so you can't take the barcelona tube from there.
You should take a Train or Coach.
Probably the best option is the Train cause that is not affected by the congestion.
That should be like an hour or so.

good luck

As others have said it is about an hour’s trip. The fare is generally around 15 euro each, one way, and the buses are clean and comfortable.

You can, in most cases, book transport, same price, via your booking company but, if you find that is difficult, or more expensive, then try searching the internet, for the town/resort area, and you will see lots of private companies that will take a booking for transfers and, if your flight runs late, they will always check before they set out and be there no matter what time you arrive... and it is, nearly always, about the same price as the bus.

I went from the airport to Lloret 3 weeks ago and we were running late (the flight was about 30 mins. late) but, true to their word, the car company had the driver there, with our name on a big sign held aloft, and it was so very easy and, as I said, the same price as the bus... 15 euro each way in my case.

I hope that might help.... if you do find a company it is so much more comfortable and, as I say, easier, and reassuring if running late... and they drop you at your accommodation front door also.

Barcelona is about in the middle of them both. My advice would be Barcelona bus from Girona airport to Girona town. The bus station in Girona is also the train station so then jump on a train straight to Barcelona and then you need Placa Catalunya which is right at the top of La Rambla so you can take a nice walk all the way down to La Rambla del Mar at the bottom and have a coffee to prepare yourself for the walk back up.
