Andalucia is the area of Spain where Flamenco came from. It also has the greatest association with Muslims in all of Spain. There's a lot of contrast between the coastal beaches and the mountains, like the Sierra Nevadas. Lots of olives grow here. There's also tons of history, between Granada, Sevilla and Cordoba, which was like NYC, 1000 years ago. The weather is very hot and dry, but overall, very good place to visit.
