Rule of thumb June July August Hot Hot
May September October warm to hot
November December January Cold
February March April warm but can be rainy .
This is for the costa del sol other parts of Spain are colder wetter and inland Andulucia much hotter.

depends on where you want to go! the north could be very cold in march (bilbao, barcelona etc.) but if you are planing on going down south (malaga, sevilla etc.) it can be nice and warm already not really hot.

this totally depends on where you are and should take in consideration altitude not just North or South etc. For example, Seville sits in a "bowl" and is the hottest city in Europe, Granada is up close to the Sierra Nevada and can be 30 degrees F colder than Sevile although they are both just as far south. But basically the summer months are warmest of course,

My Daughter lives outside of Malaga and because its so far south its pretty hot most of the year,hope this helps.

The weather in Spain is just like California, still kinda cool and a possibility of some rain. I went in April a few years ago and it was still kinda cool and we did get a little bit of rain in Madrid.

March is nice, not too hot yet. They have the same seasons as all of the Northern Hemisphere. July & August are the hottest.

March is Spring in Spain, so depending on where you want to go, it can be from cool to warm. The more south, the warmer.

Hottest months in Summer (of course). Being June and specially July to August.
