You can fly to Badajoz from London Heathrow with Iberia but you will have to make a connecting flight in Madrid. That flight will be very expensive. The best way to get there is to either fly to Sevilla or to Lisbon in Portugal. Whichever of those two airports you fly to there is a good road to Badajoz. My choice would be Lisbon if I was driving or Sevilla if I was going by train. It really depends on whether you can afford the Iberia flight or not. Here is a link to Iberia http://www.iberia.com/
