In backstreet bars fairly cheap, but like any beach location......on the beach front or promenade it will be dearer, and as Alicante is a popular city, then sometimes even dearer than Benidorm. Come to Benidorm you can get a pint of beer for 1€!!! |

a beer 1 euro?????are you dreaming??? alicante is a part of spain to tourist people so everything is more expensive than normally. I depends on the place if ir a disco or a pub it more expensive than a normal bar. in a bar: 1,30 euros aprox, in a disco or someting similar about 2,30 or 3 euros...
but in spain, at night people don't drink beer, drink whisky or something similar. sorry for the grammar, i'm learning.i'm spanish |

VERY inexpensive, and alot of times FREE!!! most of the pubs give out "chupitos gratis", the only places that don't are the clubs like SWING! but anyway... you'll find that it's really easy to have a bunch of fun for little or no money.
I only paid for 2 drinks within 4 months of being there!!! And I can definitely say that I had a bunch of fun!!! |

Compared to the UK, very cheap. Even cheaper if you keep away from the tourist places. |

Its cheap as hell in the stores as you can get best vodka for a fiver, good red/white wines a quid, amazingly cheap! The tots you get in the pubs are like half a glass full!! There is a lot of crime there though but police are really nice! |
