How much money should I take to Spain?
I am going on an EF Tour to Spain during Spring Break and my breakfasts and dinners are provided for ten days. I would need to bring enough money for spending money (I want alot of that) and enough for 10 lunches and snacks and stuff. Any suggestions?
(I give you price ranges because I don't know if you are on a tight budget or not. You could definitely get buy with less than what I list if you wanted to, but you will be comfortable in my ranges.)
For me the shopping is so great there, I would want to have enough to buy anything that struck my fancy. More than likely though, you will have limited packing space, so I would budget:
1) 200-500 euros for clothes, souvenirs/gifts. Hopefully you'll have some left over.
Don't forget there are many fine European drinks to savor, some of which are pricey. You will want to buy plenty of water and probably want to take coffee or tea at the cafes. So include that into your lunch and snack budget and you have:
2) 150-300 euros
There are also some miscellaneous expenses that may crop up, depending on your situation:
-Internet use
-Cover charges
-Unexpected taxi rides
Etc.
So as a safety net, I always bring an extra 100-200 euro. And you know what? I almost always use it.

About 600 euros would be ok. That is about 700-730 dollars I guess.
