With the fluctuating exchange rates, nobody will be able to help you with how much you will need. To help keep your costs down, why not look at all inclusive.

Seriously! With the euro rate being as poor as it is at the minute you will to take quite a lot of money- to Magaluf??? You could probably spend a bit more money and go somewhere that is actually nice that is outside of europe!

Im going to the coast in Florida for 2 weeks for 1000- and the dollar rate being as it is its cheaper for us to go there than it would be to go to italy for one week!!!!!

I really think you should rethink your destination completely...

book a cheap holiday through www.icelolly.com and take what ever spending money you can afford...for all inclusive maybe Â£100-200 for 2 weeks spending money

I think you will need more than Â£1000. It depends whether you stay in a hotel, apartment, studio. Whether you go self catering, half board, all inclusive. Whether you go during peak times. I should imagine that it will cost about Â£1000 for the hotel. Whether it is all inclusive or not will decide how much money you will need for food. If you plan to eat out each night, you will probably need about Â£15 each per night and extra for drinks. Maybe slightly less for lunch.

Other things you will need money for are: any groceries you need to buy in, more sun cream, any toiletries you run out of, money for a phone card if you plan to call home, emergency money in case you get sick or have an accident, money for any day trips/bus fares/taxis you want to use, money if you want to hire sun beds on the beach, gifts for family and friends, money to pay for a safe in your room (often they aren't included free of charge) etc.

Maybe not all of this will apply to you, but plan out the sorts of things you want to do on holiday, what sort of accommodation you want etc.

1000 quid? your not going to usa love. you will just need money for food, drinks and abit of shopping. 500 max and you will still have money to come home with.
