How old do you have to be to buy cigarettes in spain?
Does anybody know how old you have to be and how much the cost in euros?? Only asking because i go their in February and a smoker pal of mine asked me to but him some. He said he'd give me the money so i need to know how much they cost. And is age an issue? In England you have to be 18 now (used to be 16) and i'm Only 17. So yeah how old and cost please???
you have to be 18 in Spain and they are getting quite strict about it now. Even the vending machines have a remote control which has to be activated in order to buy cigarettes. If you are not 18 they won't activate the machine making it useless. You might be lucky in some small local shops but not in the big malls or government tobacco shops.

If you are 18 you are considered an adult in Spain; that means you have all the rights; also duties as an adult. You are considered responsible of your acts.

You now have to be 18 to buy cigarettes in spain even from vending machines but i don't think they are too strict so you might be ok.
the cost for 200 Marlboro light or normal are 30€ L&Ms are 25€ most well known brands are about 30€ but remember the prices will probably go up a few cents in January.

When I went I was worried about being able to buy them because I'm only 17 but I noticed that it said 16 on the entrance to restaurants where smoking is allowed and 16 on the cigarette machines. I just looked on wikipedia and it says 18, although I think you could get away with it, they're not that strict!

Hair Bear is right =) 18 but.... most bars sell them for 3,50€ just ask the man behind the bar if he has any spair....and you're only suppose to buy the from the Government here xD
if you did find some one 18 it would be 25€ for 200 Fortuna
