Here is a quick formula:
1.) Take the temperature in Celsius or Centigrade
for example: 14 degrees C.
2.) Multiply it by 9/5(nine-fifths)
therefore: 14 x 9/5 = 25.20
3.) Add 32.
therefore: 57.20 degrees Fahrenheit
The formula is as follows: From Celsius or Centigrade to Fahrenheit: Temperature x 9/5 + 32
From Fahrenheit to Celsius or Centigrade: (Temperature minus 32) x 5/9
Please note that because the 32 was added last in going from Celsius or Centigrade to Fahrenheit, it is subtracted first when going in the opposite direction and converting temperatures in Fahrenheit to Celsius or Centigrade.

For a "quick and dirty" conversion use this
Multiply temperature in C by 2 then add 32
For example 10 degrees in C times 2 is 20. Now add 32 and the F. equivalent of 10C is 52F.
The F to C conversion works in reverse order
Temperature in F minus 32 and divided by 2 gives the C value.
For example 80F - 32 = 48.
48 divided by 2 = 24.
80F approximately equivalent to 24C
