How to spend the summer in Spain?

I study spanish at uni and finish uni in about a month so I really want to spend the summer in spain working or hopefully something that wouldn't involve a lot of money or something I break even with. I'm not looking to make money just get the chance to spend a few months in Spain. So does anyone know of any good websites/companies etc?

Yes, there are over 4 million people unemployed here (and counting, expectations are it will rise up to 6,5 million) so jobs are really hard to find. The only recommendation I can give you, is to offer yourself as an aupair! Especially now, parents will have to keep working during the summer months and the kids here have 12 weeks holiday in the summer. Most people would go themselves on holiday in August, so the demand is probably bigger in July. Some families and single dads prefer male aupairs, so why not give it a shot? There are some great websites, the best ones are the ones that offer free registration to potential aupairs and it is only the hosts that pay a reasonable fee. Good luck!

Yeah....work in Spain. LOL. Not the best year for that one.

If you can find something, go for it! But jobs are going to be really hard to find this year. 4 million Spaniards looking for work, not a lot left over for foreigners.

You'll do better to put yourself into a study abroad program...granted, it costs more than working, but you'll get more out of it!

4 million unemployed here and you want to come and work!! By all means come to Spain and have a great holiday, but leave any employment to the locals as they need the work desperately.

I've heard summer in Spain is quite hot. Hopefully, the place you plan to visit has a pool and air conditioning.

Rent...or buy...a Vespa or motorcycle and have a blast.

As for working, I'm sure there is always a need for an English tour guide, etc.
