I'm going to Spain, is there anything that Spanish people will pay a premium for that we sell in America? |
I know in Mexico electronics are 30% more as well as in the Czech Republic, Phillipenes etc. What do Spanish people need that we can get cheaper here? |

There is nothing from the USA that I would want here or need. Televisions are probably expensive compared to the USA and even the UK but as someone else pointed out, they work on a different system and won´t work here.
We have everything we need in the food line. It may be the USA have to pay a premium to obtain goods from Spain. One crop here that the Spanish grow which goes to the USA and other parts of Europe is avocados. I would imagine you are paying more than a 30% premium for those than I am here in Spain. All fruit and vegetables, I have never lived anywhere where the produce is so fresh with an excellent quality. The cost of living is cheap compared to the rest of Europe and probably the States.
Come to Spain and enjoy the country for what it is. Everything here is amazing. The people are very friendly, the country is awesome in places, the history is wondrous and the food is exciting. I wouldn´t live anywhere else now. |

Your problem is that US consumer goods are 110 volts and Spain uses 220 volts and TVs work on the Pal standard and Spain uses a different baud rate.. So forget electrical goods unless they work in Spain.
Secondly Spain is a first world country so you are unlikely to be able to sell anything you bring. They have everything here already.
Check prices on Yahoo Spain shopping (compras) and you may find something that is more expensive here especially with the US dollar so low thanks to George W.
It is a pity that you can't bring houses! Have a look at computer game prices but remember the language problem.
This is not Latin America or ex - Commy block. This is Spain. |

So, I cannot think about anything except maybe a certain kind of food, like peanut butter, that Americans would have difficulty buying here, but which no Spaniard would be interested in purchasing. Everything else is more or less the same prize. Well, like someone up there pointed out,it would be great if you could bring some flats and houses... |

I live in Spain, and we can get everything here. Computers are probably cheaper there but they aren't outrageously expensive here either. |

All i know, from the time I was living in Spain, is from one spanish guy wanting Marlboro cigarrettes, and i think specifically the golden ones... so you can try buying a duty-free box at the airport....but I don't garanteed it would work. |
