i stayed at a relatively cheap (but decent) hotel that was right by park guell, the bull fighting ring and a metro about 5 minutes away from las ramblas. i believe it was called hotel onix. if you want to be closer to the ramblas at a decent price, i'd look into renting out an apartment for a couple days.
