I am going to Spain for a month and want to see some "political" tourist attractions.?

Apart from the obvious thing (the Cortes Generales in Madrid) what are good "political" sights to go and see. I am thinking of travelling all over the country, Madrid, Basque Country, Catalonia, Balearics included and want to learn more about Spanish politics - from the days of the Spanish Inquisition to the days of Franco to more recent times...

Political sites.in Barcelona are:

The Castle at Montjuich.
(MUSEU MILITAR DE MONTJUÏC Ctra. de Montjuïc, 66. Castell de Montjuïc)

The Town Hall and Generalitat at the end of C/ Ferran.

The History Museum at the bottom of Via Leytana.
(MUSEU D'HISTÒRIA DE CATALUNYA Pl. Pau Vila, 3. Palau de Mar)

The cemetery at Montjuich is highly political.

Why not go futher back? The Inquisition killed its last victim in about 1840.

Go inland Andalucia. Take someone with you who can tell about the battles of the anti-Francos that hided here, out of just about any town.

Recent history : Railway station in Madrid (bombings) and, in connection, Tangier (where most of the bombers came from) and the spanish enclaves (occupation?) of Ceuta and Melilla.
