well, it is not easy to stay for so cheap....
Wellyou can always spend your time in the beach.
I would recommend you to visis the Teide National Park, and to raise the volcano's top. It costs only 25€, because you have to use the telepheric ( and you will have to buy a bus tiket to get there ), and you will have to requesend a request ( for free ), by fax or email to the direction of the National Park. |

To be honest I don't think you'll get anywhere for less than 10€ a night, those days are long gone. Cheap activities - go snorkelling at the beach, go hillwalking, visit Teide, the buses are cheap enough and you can buy a voucher (called a bono) that lets you use the transport. I would say the cheapest place to stay now would cost about 30€ per night but it wouldn't be in town, you'd need to go and stay in El Medano or Costa del Silencio, somewhere like that. Sorry to put a downer on it but you definitely won't get anything for less than 10€. |
