Carry £25 in Euros cash. Take your bank debit card provided your bank does not charge for using cashpoints abroad. Travellers' cheques can be expensive if you want to take £1,000 or more as they take a commission for issuing them and the overseas bank also charges a commission for exchanging sterling into Euros. Otherwise, as others have already answered above, you will at least know what you are getting if you change money here.
