There were quite a lot of estate agents in the Southern part of the city, but as it is a popular place for pilgrims you'll find load of cheap 'hostals', and you might be better off staying in aone of those for a while, to make sure you really want to live there.
Or check the newspapers - they have lots of adverts in there.
