Assuming you have already paid for your accommodation, yes, you could easily manage AND have a very good time on 285 euros. If you are on a self catering break, you can eat out very cheaply and for 12-13 euros you will be able to have a good breakfast & a 3 course meal in the evening(with wine). With at least 40 euros per day to spend, this leaves you 27 euros left for drink, travel etc. Local transport is very cheap, especially buses and drink can be had at a cost of 1 euro upwards for a pint. If you are in a hotel with half board accommodation, your money will go even further, so don't be alarmed as you can and, I hope, will have a great time on the money available. I just wish I knew where you were going, as I could maybe help even more. |

that's about 40 euros a day yes you can live on that , it depends what you are planning for your holiday , if its a beachy holiday yes definitely , i assume that's what you are going for the sun, eating out is cheap if you go to the local tapas bars and drink the local alcohol, you will be ok, avoid the touristy shops on the main high streets you can get things half the price at the supermercados (supermarkets) take your bare essentials like teabags , coffee and toiletries, because they are expensive abroad good luck and enjoy !! |

depends where your staying but that shouldnt be a problem at all, as long as you try to avoid the main touristy areas then youll be fine. |
