I was in Montserrat last year. It is an amazing and fascinating experience. It is high up on a mountainside. It can be reached by road, cable car or the funicular railway. The railway is the best option. The small train snakes it's way up the mountain. You will find you can't stop taking photographs.
Barcelona is a vibrant city. For those that say it's boring, then they know nothing about Barcelona.
Andorra is in the mountains. It is a wondrous place to visit. It is also a tax free country. However, if you are intending to drive there, beware, as it gets snarled up with traffic in the summer.
Whichever destination you choose, you will have a fantastic holiday. |

Barcelona is worth a visit, at least once in your lifetime. Andorra (duty free! - scenic), and Montserrat are worth visiting, also. I did a coach tour, that included all of these places;. They are close enough to do in 7-10 day tours. |

It depends... Andorra will have NO Snow left in May... the lift's close in April - if you're lucky and you rent a car you might be able to get some.
Barça´s ok it's got a great beach - so it's not really a "City break"
^^, Andorra has %4 tax now... so only go there if you need to spend more than 150€ or something - then you'll notice the savings
If you like walking holidays... in WARM (20ºC) Weather then choose Andorra
I thought I would stick-up for this great country. there's also a GREAT Spa in the Capital
But if you've never been, but would like to go - go in Winter first then maybe in Summer
I though I'd stick up for this Tiny but GREAT Country
In Summer it would be good for Outdoor sports, such as horse riding. all the extreme sports you can imagine off a mountain and hikeing |
