First of all do you drive, if so and have a valid permit from your country of residence you should be able to just to apply for a spanish drivers permit, without taking a test.......................I didn't.......BUT I will stand corrected on this point as it was years ago, I have been here 26 years.
If you don't understand any spanish at all you might have trouble unless you can go to a driving school which does have english speaking instructors, which I think several companies on the costa del sol do have.
Must admit though the way they drive here after they "SEEM" to have passed their driving test does leave much to be desired, the young ones just seem to pass the test, get in the cars and drive like they think they are invincible................anyway good luck hope you get on OK.
