We live in Spain. Depends on how much time you have. Given the time of year because it does get cold here, I'd say visit Andalucia (Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba, Ronda) in the south. These cities are close by and easily accessed by car, bus, train. In Andalucia I'd also recommend the smaller towns of Baeza & Ubeda in Jaen province - little gems (but these towns get cold). These areas are mostly warm, the cities wonderful & full of cultural attractions. I'd also recommend Madrid/Toledo/Segovia, all very close to each other. Other great cities for us are Caceres, Salamanca west of Madrid.
If you prefer nature over the cities/cultural attractions, our favorite area is Cabo de Gata national park in the Almeria province. Desert mountains meet the sea, the beaches are untouched & some of the most beautiful we've ever seen, and the towns old & simple. Great hiking.
Where to stay - the paradors (www.parador.es) are very nice but expensive. If you want really nice places like B&B that aren't too expensive try www.rusticae.es. If on a budget Spain has these nice clean little "hostales" everywhere.
Have fun. |

That really depends on when you are going. It's cold there in the winter. Just get yourself a good travel good and consider a rail pass for the country. Allow at least three to four days for the bigger cities. Sevilla and Granada can be done in two or three. It is varied in culture, climate and geography. Depending on how long you are there - maybe you want to focus on one area. Or if you are there for a month you could see almost all the regions. Buena suerte and bien viaje. |

I have been to Benidorm in Costa Blanca, it is a nice place, there are two sides to visit in Benidorm; the Old Town, which have some historic places, and the New Town where the shops are. It has nice beeches but not THAT much to do during the day. It has several nice bars, pubs and Clubs.
The nearest Airport is Alicante, about 30 minutes/45 minutes away. |

Avoid the turistic areas, no matter if you prefer sea, culture, city or countryside. The north coast, particularly Cantabria and Asturias, is a jewel to be discovered. Some places are full in summer but autumn is beautiful there. |

Spain has so many wonderful places to visit. But my favourite has to be Barcelona, it is so wonderful and full of culture and indeed night life. Famous for its Gaudi and also for the fantastic art work of Juan Miro. The city is fantastic and only really comes alive at night. Enjoy! |

Check out Seville in the beautiful region of Andalucia.
There's mountains if you fancy skiing/snowboarding, a gorgeous national park, beaches, and best of all it's got the warmest/mildest climate in Europe.
Great cities like Seville, Cadiz, Malaga, Granada and very easy to get too with lots of low cost airlines. |
