It really depends on where you´re going to stay.
The north is quite cold and rainy, same with Castilla y León, Madrid, some northern places in Castilla La Mancha, Catalonia (mountain areas) and Aragón. In all those places can be lower than 10 ºC by day, and -0 ºC by night.
In the coast line weather tends to be more Mediterranean-like, it´s cold but you can easily be around 15-18 ºC by day.
South and south-west places can be even warmer.
Bring a coat, pull-overs, scarfs and all that stuff anyway... you cannot never know if we´re gonna have a polar-cold wave. |

Well, i live near madrid and it will be cold there (meaning you need a coat) so if your going to the south it will be a LITTLE hotter. And if your going north than it will be snowy cold!
Meaning youl need very worm cloths!
hope i helped! |

Depending on where in Spain you go. |

Days are OK, nights are cold. But it's still a great time of year to visit Spain, you avoid the crowds and the prices are lower.
On Costa del Sol you may be able to swim in the sea if you're a little brave. |

You know all those images of beautiful heat, or extreme heat, that everyone thinks of when they think of Spain? Not at that time of year! You won't be sunbathing on the beaches or anything, if that's what you were thinking.
Exactly HOW cold, (or cool) will depend on where you are. It is true winter in the mountains, and I remember being pretty cold in Sevilla (the "frying pan of Spain"). You know, heavy sweaters, even winter coats weather, though it doesn't really snow there, it was around 30 degrees Farenheit (in Sevilla) at that time of the year.

its a big country!!
if you're going to the tourist areas, seville can still be 25 degrees if you're lucky, but nowhere will be hotter. we came back from malaga and granada last week and it was mild (15 -17 degrees) for a few days (i was in shirt sleeves but the spanish thought it was cold!), then it rained really heavily for a few days. the summer ended quite abruptly the week before we went!
bbc weather will give you a forecast for the city you're visiting, or accuweather.
enjoy! |
