You can have a lot of fun in Spain! But it's quite big (45 million people live there). I mean that you can have very different kind of fun depending on where you go.
Barcelona is a very interesting city, cosmopolitan, arty, alive, next to the sea, but that is only one example! You can try Valencia, Malaga, Bilbao, Sevilla and many more... |

When I was traveling through Spain I came up with the phrase "you can not find a bad time in Spain". The whole country is fantastic. If you are trying to tour it all I would have to advise you to make sure to visit Grenada (great night life and the Alhambra is very impressive). Making your way north I loved the atmosphere in Madrid. It was full of life. Lots to see and do there. Valencia is a coastal city I stopped at from Madrid to Barcelona. The guidebooks told me bad things about it but again, fun time, although maybe not so much to see here. Barcelona is fantastic. Gaudi Park and the Sagrada de la Familia are must sees. There is also a great beach to relax at. Again, the nightlife restaurants here are the best. The place most people rave about in terms of beaches is way up in the north, San Sebastien. A beach bums paradise. Loads of travellers. Great tapas. Amazing beaches. |

Spain is the greatest place ever i grew up there its amazing!!!! depends where are you going? i lived on the Mediterranean coast the bars, music, culture, sites, beaches, theme parks there just so much to do that's so much fun and the people are really nice and very friendly to tourists. trust me you´ll have a great time. if you are going to to middle of Spain to the coutryside its so pretty and peaceful but they can still have nice bars that are typical spanish and its so fun for a giggle and experience. I bet because your going with a school they normaly go to Barcelona or Madrid they are great cities you´ll never get short of things to do!!! im going back home to Valencia for xmas :D cant wait!!!!!!!!!!! |

Sin duda!!
Best country...Hope your tour goes to Seville. No one here seems to have spent any time there. I lived in Sevilla many years ago, and have just gone back to visit. Your tour will no doubt cover Madrid (Way cool city!) and probably Barcelona, also really neat, but very different from the other cities you're likely to hit. You'll have a great time, I'm sure. Follow the rules and be aware when you're away from your group. Your teacher should give you good advice...follow it. I know kids who've had problems not doing so. Buen viaje! |

Lots of fun...it be alot better if you can speak some spanish but not very necessary. Been to Madrid, Seville, Rota.
Obvisiously there's the history and historic locations and the people are for the most part friendly.
Not sure what you're age is but the drinking age is 18 over there so don't get too crazy and make sure you go out with a group, very late night life...plenty of times I went home with sun coming up. |
