No, it's not too late, it will be just as mad as ever, I've been in October, you will have the benefit that all the screaming little children will be safely back in school.

I used to be a holiday rep for a travel company and have visited all the resorts on the island.

I went to Majorca for our honeymoon last month, but as you may imagine, we wanted peace and quiet, so we stayed at the opposite side of the island in Porto Christo.

We did however venture out sometimes to visit different parts of the island, this is us in the Sol Tordos hotel in Palma Nova, right next to Magaluf which is just as much fun.

i have exactly same time of year unfortunatley you might just get a few days of madness / may be more depending if your lucky but dont get me wrong all the pubs are still open and night clubs are if your going go to( bcm )where you pay for your entry price and that it free booze all night (mainly spiritz) best to go there soon as you get there also if you are near the beach walk on the main road near the beach and walk up the hill thats were the main pubs are and also there is some pubs behind bcm night club (coyote ugly bar) if it still there
also your are 5 minutes walking distance to palma nova
in palma nova got a great crazy golf course its a must do
why not try the two water parks them slides are the best and also marine land , caves of drac (beautiful) inca market (hope this helps)

one other thing you can get alchol pitches mixes
and dont go into a pub unless they offer a free drink

I'm wondering about Magaluf too! I hadn't even heard of the place until a few months ago. Seems to be on the lips of everyone in all the forums this year. Before, I never read anything on this place. I even asked a Madrid/Spaniard if they'd heard of it and they hadn't so that tells me something. Maybe the Magaluf tourist office is promoting themselves like crazy lately but maybe it's just a great place to visit. Either way, I'll be looking into it myself.
