Is absolutely everything closed in Malaga on sundays?
I am going to Fuengirola next weekend for a few days and I am planning on a trip to Malaga to have a wander round, I am not bothered about the shops and museums but just want to see what it's like, is absolutely everything closed or is it just shops and attractions and does this apply on Mondays too?
Help! Trying to plan what to do in such little time to do it!
Additional Details Oops sorry forgot to say, all I want to know is are there cafes and bars open.......
Malaga is the same as any big city on a Sunday, some big stores will be closed but all the bars, cafes and restaurants will be open as usual. Fuengirola will still be buzzing on Sunday, but a little quieter than Saturday. The Spaniards may still be devout Catholics but business is still business.

Most things are closed, except cafes, restaurants, museums, etc. Shops are only allowed to be open a number of Sundays a year, I think it is the 1st or the 3rd of each month. This applies to El Corte Ingles and some other big shops like Zara and so on. You can look in their website to see when they are open. I think the laws are changing and they will be able to open every Sunday very soon, but not just yet.
