... No, but Carrefour and Eroski will be open on Decmber 26. but December 26th is a Saints day in all CatalĂ  Speaking Countries/Regions

Then most bigger shops will open during the days of Christmas, in Barça there will be more open but things will shut before New Year, look at the HUGE signs in your local stores which have their opening times and hours

Edit: if your stuck in Barça with nothing todo... on Christmas why don't you visit France by train ?? Then you can say you've been to France also xD I know near me in Biarritz a lot of the hotels are serving food on Christmas Day ! so ... try the South of france xD

AbsoluteSpainForum.com
As far as their website goes and the information on the Barcelona tourism board, Casa Battlo is open everyday.

I'm pretty sure, the 25th being a National Holiday in still extremely Catholic Spain, that most public buildings will be closed. Check their website, though. I thought my guidebook said it was closed.

I would think that Christmas day would be best for, like, renting a car and driving around the countryside, or something that doesn't involve open monuments...Hiking if you aren't in need of church. A quiet day. You might even be best to get your food in advance and do picnics!

Some local cheese, crusty bread and a bit of Jamón Ibérico. Yum!!!

*edit* Here's their website...email and ask them!
