The hotel can't ship the camera here because they don't want to pay for it but I have no idea what to do! I can't just buy a new camera, I need to get that one back. What can I do?...
IT doesn't matter, you will still be paying the same price.
If they said it was 35 euros per 200, they would just convert 35 euros into sterling.

Agree with the above poster- the Tabac shops are subsidised by the government in spain so they are cheaper than the airport by a mile.
Where my parents house is they can get 200 cigs for 25 euros the equivalent at the airport cost about 10 euros more.

as a frequent user of alicanti airport and a smoker its same prise in ether but if you need a fag your self be warned they ar like rocking horse **** spain has gone anti smoking mad

Either, you will still pay the same price but it is always easier to pay in € (e.g Marlboro lights €30) but the tobacconist is not next to security now, its next to the airport pay and display pay units get them there before you go in the airport (its just opposite the arrivals by the car park if you are getting off a bus) you will get them cheaper than in duty free.

Use euros and DON'T buy at the airport. Buy them in the Tabacos by the bus stop - much cheaper and like 'Wendyek', I had all my ciggies and tobacco confiscated at Bristol airport because I couldn't prove that I DIDN'T buy the full allowance on my previous trip - I didn't even have the full allowance but it costs £1500.00 to appeal - so be careful !

I think its easier to pay in local currancy, but it will be converted to pounds , so work out the same.

euros, always use local currency

if you have euros left use them.
The pound versus the euro is incredibly volatile at present so check the exchange rate before you buy.
If on holiday in southern spain take a trip to Cueta a Spanish enclave on the northern Moroccan coast. It is a duty free area for the spanish and last time I was there it was incredibly cheap for ciggies and petrol.

Sterling - but if you are stopping in Alicante there is a tobbaco shop in the Marina and they are cheaper there.
Also be careful how many cigs you bring back to England, I was stopped at Birmingham Airport and had them all confiscated, so be warned !!!!
