If you are a US citizen you're aware the US dollar can't compare to the Euro dollar. If you can take a trip in Asia where the money will go further but if you still want to travel to Spain keep lots of cash available yet beware of thieves too.

I was there over spring break and found it to be about the same as the US, or a little more expensive.
Stores I really liked are Mango and Zara. Mango is young womens clothing, a bit like Forever 21 but way better quality and the stores are not as overwhelming. Zara is kind of like Gap.
I found leather goods to be much cheaper in Barcelona than here, but I'm not sure about the rest of the country.

Complex question, but here's a quick answer.

If you are US, NO.

If you are British, maybe, a little cheaper than you are used to.

Wasn't too expensive! Check out H&M (we have that in the U.S. but not in Phoenix where I live!), Zara (this is the most popular among the Spaniards! Ok we actually have it in the U.S. now, too...), Stradivarius, Pull & Bear, Bershka, and El Corte Inglés are all pretty decently priced. Oh yeah there is also one store called Pimky but I wasn't a fan of that one. Shopped at all the other ones I named, though! A lot!

Not if you're using dollars. The dollar keeps dropping against the Euro.

shapping in spain is comparable to shopping here. Spain focuses more on quality rather than the junk that sells here.
