It can be a bit hit and miss, i lived in Spain and found that it could be quite mild - around 20c or even as hot as 28c

That's a good time of year to go, before it gets too hot. The temperature's very pleasant that time of year - in the twenties.
Spain's a beautiful country. I've been quite a few times. Andalucia is particularly beautiful (especially inland, away from the tourist resorts) - all very exotic and colourful, it's the Arabic influence. There's Granada, Cordoba & Seville which are a must! And there are a lot of beautiful white towns in the mountains, very clean and the scenery is spectacular. I hope you enjoy your holiday.
Best wishes, Jocelyn

mild weather, not hot

The further south you go the warmer it is Due to the important extension of land Spain comprehends and the different geographical areas it has, this country shows some different climates at some spots than at in others, although there are some general guidelines which can be applied to it as a whole. See http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/Weather_in_Spain.htm
