It really depends on where you want to live or can afford to live. I´ve travelled both countries extensively and there are many wonderful places to live in both countries.
I live in Spain. I have a relaxed lifestyle. I don´t live close to a tourist area. My location is very rural. I´m from the UK but my home is in Spain now. This is my country of residence. The Spanish people away from the coast are extremely friendly. My neighbours couldn´t be more helpful. It may depend though on what you refer to as fun. My enjoyment comes from the lifestyle and the country which is great. |

Spain is way much more fun.Because everybody walks,the nihtclubs open until 7a.m.,you can drink all niht long,there is way much more freedom.USA is only good for work,but not for fun.Spanish national living in the USA |

Life here is more enjoyable. Here we work to live, not like in the U.S that everyone lives to work.. I know, I am a Chicagoan that moved here to Barcelona 9 months ago and Don´t regret doing it at all.. I love every minute of it..
