yes spain is cheap in the summer, compared to other places in europe..in spain the main tourist attraction is the beach..with its mediterranean climate nice beaches cheap prices every1 goes to the coast,,so pick what part of spain you want 2 go to and try google 2 see what to do there...i say go to majorca,,its one of the msot visited holiday destinations in europe with lots to do and see..however if u go to barcelona or madrid things will a bit more expensive surprisingly..

Altstadtweib
Well, with the "Euro" nothing is really cheap anymore like it used to be.......
In July it's hot and you better head to a beach somewhere...I personally like "Denia" for beach and nighlife!

Nothing is cheap anymore if you´re dealing on the American Dollar. Maybe South America, but Europe is NOT cheap. Dollar is weak, Euro is strong. Not looking at ANYTHING being cheap for a long time.

John M
if you are in America, going just about anywhere else, the exchange rate will be difficult. Expect typical things you pay for on vacation to cost almost twice what you would pay in the states.

If you want my opinion, if you are in Spain in July you should go to Benicassim, this year it is 18th-21st July (i think)

It is an amazing festival that I went to last year and I just won't shut up about it still. The only reason I am not going this year is that one of my best friends has decided to get married that weekend :(

have a look on www.fiberfib.com

If that isn't your scene then July is a brilliant time to visit, if you like it hot!

Libertad V
Not cheap at all, but a lot to do on july...
