No none of the canaries is part of the EU that is one of the reasons that alcohol and tobaco is tax reduced although its a part of Spain . Remember that as a holiday maker or tourist your duty free is very small.

For customs purposes it is not part of the EU so don't be tempted your allowance is only 200 fags,which is heartbreaking at 40 pence a packet.

im not so sure it is ,you dont get the duty free allowance you get in the E.U. I know it belongs to Spain ,but we were told last time we went in May you only get the duty free allowance of a country outside the eu !!
