Why do you want to go to Benidorm? keep going and visit Calpe or even Denia-much nicer. Also try a coach trip from Benidorm up to Guadalest in the mountains behind.Well worth the visit.

Theres a Wednesday coach trip from Torrevieja to Benidorm, costs 10€. Buses, not that I'm aware of, usually they go as far as Alicante bus terminal then you would have to change.
