You have neglected to say where exactly in Spain you are thinking or spending time in. You can log onto sites such as expedia and I am not sure if lastminute.com has anything in Spain. But for cheap and usually rather good accommodation I would reccommend checking out what are called pensiones they range in quality and price but are for the most part quite comfortable and affordable.
