Curious-This is bugging me!!
La Tomatina??
I'm going to the festival in Bunol in August and was wondering if anyone who has been can give me any tips I have read loads of articals on the internet so please don't copy and paste.
The questions which I want answered the most are below:-
If you take a change of clothes (as reccomended so you can get on the train back) is ther anywhere to leave it so it doesn't get soaked in Tomato or what is best?
We're staying in Valencia and wondered if is it best to go into Bunol the night before and just stay up (drink throu) and if we need to just sleep rough 4 the night or is it best just to go into Bunol really early on the Weds morning ready for the tomato fight?
I'd recommend that if you do take a change of clothes, place them in a plastic bag in a book bag or something of that nature, then before the event starts, also wrap the bag in plastic bag as well to prevent a total mess and smelling issues that will later occur should you not rinse the bag properly. Furthermore, either option is fine. If you want to experience the wild and craziness that is associate though, I'd say stay in town go pub crawling and have a blasted time.

Take some other old cloths wrap in a couple of supermarket bags then tie around you like a bum bag.! that should keep the change of cloth reasonable out of most tomato´s range!!!?? Then do what all young people there do stay and go ballistic,Have a great time wish i could be there too.

Take a spare set of clothes wrapped in 3 or 4 plastic bags. You're less likely to get bits of tomato in there! Tie the bag round your waist. If you're willing to keep up with the Spanish, then get the last train to Buñol and party all night! If that sounds a bit too energetic then get the first train to Buñol in the morning. There is a train that leaves Valencia Nord at 08.08 and arrives in Buñol at 08.54. You can check train times at www.renfe.es
I was there last year and had a great time! It might take you a few days to recover though! Have fun!
