There's not a great deal to do in the resort although it's a nice enough place and is a good base. Been a few times as I prefer to stay in a quieter resort and catch a bus or taxi into the much livelier Puerto del Carmen, doesn't cost much or take long. There a few bars and restaurants with a "shopping mall" along the seafront. There are lots of regular buses during the day to visit various other places on the island. Timanfya national park is quite good and you get a camel ride there which is an experience!! There's buses regularly to Arrecife the capital which is decent for shopping. There's also day trips to a local market if you like looking for bargins. Hope this helps.

costa teguise is quite nice a littkle windy if anything,, puerto del carman is a mixture of nice sandy beach or busy town centre nightlife,, in my opinion playa blanca is the best nice beaches and nice restaurants

Been there twice. if you want nice quiet holiday it is nice and quiet. Many excursions from there. Good golf. Not much of a beach - not much night life - depends on hotel. 20 mins from the airport. Buses and taxis to Puerto del Carmen, Playa Blanca. better beaches.
