Speed limits in Spain are as follows: 20 kph in residential areas, 50 kph in built-up areas, 90 kph in country roads, 100 kph in dual carriageways, 120 kph on motorways, 80 kph for cars towing a trailer on divided highways and 70 kph on other roads.

1. Visas
EU foreigners do not need a visa to enter Spain, but just a
passport or an official ID in force. Non-EU foreigners, on the other hand, do need a visa to enter Spain, except if there exists an agreement between Spain and the foreign home country, by means of which the requirement of a visa is eliminated for citizens or residents of such countries when they will be staying in Spain for up to 3 months within a 6 month period, or for a transit stay of maximum 5 days

.The non European community foreigners who wish to work in Spain must obtain a work permit after obtaining also a visa before moving to work to Spain, they shall apply for the visa to the Spanish Consulate in their home country.

2. Judicial separation
a) Separation by mutual agreement.

The spouses may separate by mutual agreement when they have been married for 3 full months. In this case the spouses agree to live separate and apart from each other.

1. Civil and religious marriage
Under Spanish law, both civil and religious marriages are legal. People under 18 are not authorised to marry in Spain.

Civil Marriages: The consent to get married is given to the correspondent officer pursuant to the principles of the Spanish Civil Code. The marriage shall be solemnized by the Judge in charge of the Civil Registry, by the town Mayor or the officer duly authorised, or by the diplomatic officer of the Civil Registry abroad.

Religious Marriages: Catholic, protestant and Jewish marriage may be celebrated in Spain. The certificate of marriage issued by the Church after the ceremony must be registered with the Spanish civil registry in order to get an official marriage certificate.

Criminal penalties in Spain
Under the Spanish judicial system, if a person is charged with any offence, he/she has to stand trial. This means he/she hast to appear in court before a judge, in some specific cases before a jury. If the accused is found guilty, the judge will pass sentence. Depending on the seriousness of the offence, punishments range from life imprisonment, imposition of a fine, deprivation of certain rights, and a range of other measures
