If you are moving to Spain then why not get personal tuition once you are here. I moved here three years ago and once settled that is what I did. I live in a rural area and have the opportunity to practice my Spanish with the locals. If you move to an area with a high concentration of English speaking people, you won´t get an opportunity to speak with too many Spanish people because they will converse with you in English.
As for where you should live! that´depends on why you are coming to Spain. If it´s to work then it may be a city you want to go to, but if retired you may want the weather. |

If you are thinking of moving to Spain then why not decide where you want to live too. People come to Spain for various reasons so we on Yahoo couldn't tell you where you should live. I have lived here 16 years but sadly due to work commitments have to live in?near tourist areas. Although I learned Spanish myself just by mixing with the locals and never went to lessons, and my Spanish is very good. The previous answer is right too.
You won't learn much Spanish in 90 days unless you really apply yourself.
Good luck |

Hey
I live in Fuengirola in the province of Malaga (basic map here http://www.ambientjobs.com/travel.php), I have lived here for 9 years now and loved every minute of it, we are now moving to Monda as we have had enough of the coast.
The best to learn Spanish is to mingle with the locals, however, you need to have a basic to understand anything and to start somewhere, I had a few lessons when I first arrived and then I went it alone and talked to my neighbours with a dictionary on hand so I could increase my vocabularly.
There is a good resource on this website that also has links to Spanish Language course and information.

No vayas a españa! |
